Nine short pieces: grade 1-2
“Up and Away has a ‘floating’ texture, floating away at the end. Little White Clouds depicts the clouds suspended in the blue sky. The Whispering Wind has a chromatic movement. Mountain Echoes has a ‘strong’ texture with the dynamics mimicking the echoes in the mountains. Sea Pictures evokes the swell of the waves. Drum Beat has a marching quality. Far Eastern Sounds utilises intervals of 4ths and 5ths giving an open sound easily associated with Eastern music. The Galaxy has stargazing qualities with its semiquaver movement. Homeward Bound has a yearning quality,
