Stabat Mater – Roger Bosustow
This work may be performed as a purely musical aid to meditation on the Passion, or it could include readings. In the latter case I have suggested points in the score where readings might be inserted and, apart from the opening from St. John’s Gospel, which directly relates to the text, they need not be Biblical. They could, for example, be writings by Dietrich Bonhoeffer or by parents who have suffered loss through war or illness.
